No 2149 to 2222 Inol., lists ot which were furnished the Superintendent Super-intendent and mailed to all board members on Friday, July 20, 1956 were approved for payment on a mot ion by John I. Holley, seconded lo A. Crandall. Motion unanimous. unani-mous. Bids for the purchase of first aid materials needed by the Health Division for the 1956-57 school year which were called for July IS, 1956, from all Drug stores in district area tabulated as follows- Raymond Drug, Springville $404.67; World Drug.Spanish Fork $339.70; S.O.S. Drug, Springville, No Bid; City Drug, Springville, Spanish Fork, Payson, No Bid; Magelby Drug, Spanish Fork, No Bid; Daniels Drug, Payson, No Bid. The items on these bids have been checked by Mrs. Curtis, District Nurse and reports all items meet specifications on the above two bids received. Motion by John I. Holley, seconded Leo A. Crandall to accept the low bid of the World Drug to furnish these supplies. Motion unanimous. Bid quotations received for tuning tun-ing pianos in district tabulated as follows: J. Eldon Brown, Draper, Utah, $4.00, Repairs extra; Golden K. Hansen, Springville, $5.00, Repairs extra. Motion Leo A. Crandall, seconded sec-onded John I. Holley to accept the low bid offer of J. Eldon Brown for this tuning work. Motion unanimous. unan-imous. Clerk reported having received word from Mountain Fuel Supply Company that gas service is now available for all buildings if desired. de-sired. Clerk presented letter from Architect Ar-chitect Claude S. Ashworth, submitting sub-mitting estimated cost in changing from stoker firing to gas firing at the Springville Jr. High School. Motion L. J. Crabb, seconded John I. Holley authorizing Clerk to call for Bids to purchase batteries, bat-teries, tires, tubes and antifreeze as needed in Bus department for 1956-57 school year, to be called for August 6, 1956. Call for bids to be published in the three local papers for two issues. Specifications Specifica-tions can be obtained at Office of Clerk of Board of Education. Motion Mo-tion unanimous. Motion Leo A. Crandall, seconded second-ed L. J. Crabb approving expense claim of A. J. Bowen of $52.25 for attendance to Logan Janitor School. Motion unanimous. Motion for adjournment L. J.
