Show Fish and Game Nevs Notes... A full business agenda was handled hand-led by the Utah Fish and Game Commission during special meetings meet-ings held January 15 and 16. After scheduling the annual ang- j ling proclamation (main order of business), the following actions were taken: Passed a motion directing that all license holders involved in a hunting accident during recent fall seasons wherein a death occurred be called before the Commission to show cause why their hunting privileges priv-ileges should not be revoked. Another An-other license holder will be notified to appear and show cause why license li-cense privileges should not be revoked re-voked for "persistent and knowing" know-ing" violation of fish and game laws. The department contributes financial assistance to this work carried forward at the Utah State Agricultural College. The Strawberry Water Users contract was referred to the state's Attorney General for study and a meeting with council for the water users. Other actions included appropriation approp-riation of participating funds in the building of a bridge over the Green River into the Browns Park area, confirmation of department actions taken since the last commission com-mission meeting, study of land use exchanges and leases and other regulor business. Next meeting of the Commis sion was scheduled for February 23 and 24. Utah's Department of Fish and Game was commended for its management man-agement of the state's fish and wildlife resources during 1953 by a resolution of the delegates at the annual conference of the Utah Wildlife Federation held in Salt Lake City January 16 and 17. The delegates selected Dr. Keith Barnes of Kaysville as their presi-j presi-j dent for the next two years.
