Show New Territory Added to City Mail Route As result of a recent 10-day inspection of the Springville postal routes by J. T. Gardner, federal postal inspector with offices in Salt Lake City, several changes are to be made imfliediately, it was announced an-nounced this week. The major change will be the transfering of a portion of the RFD route on the southeast outskirts of Springville onto the city delivery route. This transfer will include the territory from the First ward church south to Tenth South, then east to Sixth East and north to Ninth South and back down to Fourth East and to the i church. It will include approximately fifty homes. In addition to this change, there will also be other changes made in the city delivery routes which will of necessity change, the time of mail delivery to some homes. In some sections where mail has been delivered in the morning, it may be delivered in the after-trnoon after-trnoon under the new schedule, the postmaster pointed out. The new schedule is expected to be in working order by February Febru-ary 1 and all homes which have been receiving RFD service will 'be rccjuircd to have mail boxes placed on their homes before their jmail will be delivered, under the new set-up. |
