Show Mr. and Mrs. Don A. Larsen, Making Home on Coast After Temple Rites Now at home in Berkley, 'Calif., are newly-weds, newly-weds, Mr. and Mrs. Don A. Larsen, who were married January 31, in the Salt Lake Temple with El Ray Chnstensen officiating. offi-ciating. In the evening after the wedding, wed-ding, a' reception was given in their honor in the Third-Ninth ward church with scores of relatives rel-atives and friends extending best wishes. The charming young bride, formerly Miss Geniel Felix, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Felix and Don's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. Larsen of Sacramento, Sacramen-to, Calif. For her wedding attire, the bride chose a crystaline beaded gown of princess style, floor-length floor-length with long pointed sleeves. sleev-es. Her shoulder-length veil of silk net fell from a beaded tiarra and she carried a bouquet cf white orchids and orange blossoms encased in heart-shaped netting. A Valentine color theme was further carried out in various details of the reception. The bridesmaids appeared in street-length street-length red crystaline princess-style princess-style dresses with small red-tulle red-tulle hats to match and bouquets bou-quets of red and white carnations carna-tions in a netting heart-shaped design similar to that of the bride's bouquet. Afton May-cock May-cock was maid of honor; Mrs. Barbara O. Murray, Miss Geniel Ashcraft and Mrs. Carol O. Fisher, bridesmaids. Richard Anderson of Sacramento Sacra-mento was best man and Beth and Jan Felix, ushered. At the door , were Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Felix and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hall. The Misses Jeanine Watts and Delora Ber-telsen Ber-telsen were at the bride's book and Raymond Felix and Richard Rich-ard Bird were gift bearers. Serving were Karen Boyer, Connie Penovich, Mary Jane Bird, Joan Penovich, Lynn and Kay Bird, and they all wore aprons of white net with heart-shaped lace pockets. In the gift room were Mrs. James Felix, Mrs. Fred Crandall, Cran-dall, Mrs. Kent Crandall, Mrs. Wallace Bird and Miss Kay Nielson. Decorations were all in the Valentine motif and a beautiful 3-tiered wedding cake adorned with silver bells, and tiny red and white rose-buds with heart-shaped lacy frosting added ad-ded interest to the setting. The wedding march preceded an entertaining program for which Mrs. John Stokes was Mistress of Ceremonies. The couple left shortly after the reception for their home in Berkley, where the groom is employed as a civil engineer in San Francisco Bridge Department. |
