Show Springville Men Land in Germany Kent Blackley, son of Mrs. Blanch B. Brown and Mark Bills, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Bills of this city, recently arrived ar-rived in Germany with the U.S. forces. In company with some 2000 other soldiers, the men were transported on the troop ship General Walker via the Panama Canal, leaving Monterey Bay, Calif., January 9 and arriving in Germany January 31. In a letter to his mother, Kent said that the men were presently living in barracks constructed by Hitler and that they were very nice. Also that the American fellows were being be-ing treated very good by the Germans in the vicinity. |
