Show "A Birthday Party" Theme of Annual Art Tea Set Saturday Afternoon Between three and four hundred club women from over the state are expected to be guests of the Springville Federated Clubs at the annual Art Tea Saturday afternoon. , The social function, a highlight of the spring art month, will be held from 3 p.m. until 6 o'clock at the art gallery. Receptionists will be on hand to show the visitors visi-tors through the gallery and a musical program will entertain the guests throughout the afternoon. Light refreshments will be served. A pretty and unique decorative theme, "A Birthday Party" marking mark-ing 50 years of art in Springville will be carried out in details of the party. Mrs. Bert Cherrington, president of the Springville Club Council is general chairman of the tea and is being assisted by a large group of committee chairmen and members from the nine Springville clubs. The Alpha Beta Club with Mrs. Wm. L. Schreiner, chairman, is in charge of receiving; the Ladies Literary club, Mrs. Glen W. Sum-sion, Sum-sion, chairman, serving; Pari Passu Pas-su club, Mrs. D. LaRell Johnson, chairman, program; the Cultural Arts club, Mrs. Jimmie Lawrence, chairman, decorations; the Aureole Aure-ole club and the Companions club, Mrs. Ralph Child and Mrs. Roy Anderson, co-chairmen, refreshments; refresh-ments; Home Culture club, Mrs. J. F. Wingate, chairman, dishes, tables and chairs; Mother's Study club, Mrs. A. W. Cherrington, chairman, publicity; the Jeune Mere club, Mrs. Grant Palfreyman, chairman, invitations. |
