It was decided to open the city pasture on April 27, next Monday. All cattle must be vac- : .cinated for Bang's disease before entering the pasture and a certificate cer-tificate to that effect must be j presented at the city recorder's office when purchasing tickets. The cattle will be vaccinated for anthrax shortly after they enter the pasture it Ls stated. The city pasture fee has been decreased to $4.50 per head this year. Depending upon continued warm weather, the oiling of nearly six miles of city street will begin about May 1, it was also decided at the meeting. A decision to continue with the present schedule for irrigation water wa-ter in plat "A" also met the approval ap-proval of the council. Tickets will be issued as usual with continuous day and night turns every eight days and eight hours, with 2 hours to the acre over the entire city. A proposition to purchase a new t'iretruck for the city fire department was referred to the special committee for their further investigation. A delegation from the Springville Spring-ville Flower Garden club met with the council to secure their favorable favor-able action on beautifying the property on the creek banks east and west of the bridge on Main street. It was decided that the former being private property only the east bank across from the tourist cabins would be improved. The city plans to plant trees and lawn there in that section. |
