Edward Bartlett also of Springville which took place last Thursday in this city. President J. Emmett Bird of Kolob stake performing the ceremony. Finley Fin-ley here, en route with other government gov-ernment biological survey officials to attend a conference in Denver, Society Members ol the Current Study club enjoyed an interesting talk on various phases of art given by Muss ifrtcl Williams at the high school art gallery on Monday. Earlier in the evening Miss An-geline An-geline Warnick was club hostess entertuining with a tastefully arranged ar-ranged luncheon. Corsages of sweet peas were given as favors. Besides club members there were present Miss Genevieve Fugal and Miss Helen Watson. Mr. and' Mrs. Earl Condie spent Sunday in Salt Lake City where they visited their son Vernon Ver-non who was there from Afton, VVyo. where he has been teaching the past year. Mrs. Condie who is attending school at the B. Y. U. and had spent the week end in Salt Lake City, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Earl Condie to Springville. Spring-ville. Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Bird and daughters of Bingham were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bird and other relatives hero on Sunday. The regular monthly meeting of the D. U. P. camp Aaron Johnson John-son was held Thursday afternoon ,at Relic hall. The program for the afternoon featured a tap danee by Miss Da ma Grant with piano accompaniment by Miss Phylis Smart; a vocal solo, Miss Vera Wheeler, with Miss Verona Condie Con-die accompanist; a vocal solo, Hurley Whiting, Miss lone Ave-I'ett, Ave-I'ett, accompanist. A lesson on early roads also featured the meeting, being given by Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Minor. Short talks also 'were given by President Mary Dahlquist of the county organization organiza-tion ; Mrs. Phoebe E. Markham, vice president and Mrs. Mary J. Finley of the county, the latter officiating at the installation of officers which followed the election. elec-tion. The meeting was concluded with serving of refreshments. Hostesses were Mrs. Mae Bird. Mrs. Susie Boyer, Mrs. Susan Con-over, Con-over, Mrs. Maggie Daley, and Mrs. Emma Hutchingson. Mrs. G.. D. Kennedy will be hostess to members of the Social Twelve club at her home Thursday night, beginning at S o'clock. Mrs. J. R. Graham of Fairview spent the past week with her daughter, Mrs. Harold Christensen and family in this city. Mrs. Graham accompanied her daughter daugh-ter and family back from an Easter Sunday visit at Fairview. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Theo Phillips of Provo in company with Mr. and Mrs. Elden Palfreyman and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Stewart of this city, left Friday morning on a few days trip to Boulder City, Nevada. . Mrs. E. T. Crandall will be hostess . to members of the Ladies' Literary club at her home Thursday evening, April 23. Kenneth Ken-neth Weight also of the Provo high school faculty accompanied the group. Mrs. G. D. Kennedy and daughters daugh-ters Gale and Glenna and son Keith spent the week end in Sa-', Sa-', Una with Mr. Kennedy who has ; recently purchased a drug store establishment there.
