Show Services For Grace Diomond Held Thursday Funeral services for Miss Grace Diamond, 24, who died sudenly at her home Thursday, were held Sunday in the Fourth ward chapel, with A! G. Thorn of the ward bishopric in charge. The speakers were the Rev. Mr. Arthur of Payson, pastor of the local Community church, and Superintendent Wm. T. Tew of the L. D. S. seminary. Mrs. Emma Ramsey of Provo ! accompanied by Mrs. Gerald Hea-ton, Hea-ton, gave a vocal solo; Miss Hannah, Han-nah, Rowland, gave a vocal solo; Inez Parker and Helen Palfrey-man Palfrey-man a vocal duet, and W. Elmo Coffman a vocal solo. The invocation was offered by Leo G. Robertson of the Fourth ward bishopric, Lindsey Parker gave the closing prayer and the Rev. Mr. Arthur read the com-mital com-mital at the. graveside, in the city cemetery. Miss Diamond was born here, August 5, 1909, a daughter of I James Willis and Nellie N. Blackett Diamond. She attended the grade and high school in this city. She had in recent years taken an active part in the young people's society of the Community chvlrch and had served as a teacher in various organizations of the church. She is survived by her parents and six brothel's and sisters, Jack, Bessie, Max; Calvin, Creed and Udeane DiaAnond; also a grandfather James Diamond, Springville. I |
