Show 5 Springville Ag. Club Boys Home Again The Springville chapter of the F. F. A. had a very enjoyable and educational trip to trie San Francisco Fran-cisco Intermountain Junior Livestock Live-stock show. There were 34 members mem-bers Who made the trip, the trip down was very interesting. The following made the trip: Homer Harwood, Will Childs, Salvoy Boyer, V. C. Mendenhall, La Von Whiting, Leslie Beardall, Keith Boyer,- Fred Allan, Max Sumsion, Carl Peterson, Merlyn Houtz, Bliss Packard, Verl Childs, Leland Allan Blaine Clye, Ted Clark, Max Simpkins, Jim Diamond, Diam-ond, Bell Averett, Quintin Fletcher, Karl Bramall, Ray Peterson, Hugh Hjouth, Walter Selck, Robert Bird, Harold Harmer, Laurence Bleggi, Allan Perry, Spanish Fork, J. Fred Spencer, Spanish Fork; Nyh Cowan, Payson; Rex Hallows, Hal-lows, Payson; Wendel LeBaron, Payson. The show , was a huge success. All the exhibitors received a good price for their stock. The group was entertained every night while there. The chambr of commerce took all the group on a tour to the most interesting parts of San Francisco, to the Army transport trans-port boat, the Percedio, through Golden Cate park and the zoo. A delightful banquet was served. The winners of the Springville chapter chap-ter were: Angus class Merlyn Houtz, second, $10.00 prize. Bliss Packard third; Fred Allan-fourth; Allan-fourth; Lavon Whiting, fifth. Shorthorn Karl Bird third $7.00. The trip was a real educational educa-tional success. |
