It was rec-ommended rec-ommended that the water could be drained out of the mining area and with additional springs along the way, there would be sufficient to furnish culinary and irrigation supplies for a new community of from 400 to 800 families. The men would work in the mines and smelters smel-ters and operate small tracts of t rnd in the new project, it was reported. The board accepted Mr-. Ullrich' exhaustive report and recommended recommend-ed that further investigation be made into the proposition by federal fed-eral authorities. Recommendations for the use of equipment turned .over to the board from the drouth relief administration, ad-ministration, were., then discussed. Most of the equipment was used last year in the developing of more water in the state. Members of the board present at the Saturday meeting are: F. S.
