Show TELEPHONE CO. TO INTRODUCE NEWBILLING A new and improved method of issuing telephone bills -will be introduced in-troduced in Springville in the near ' future according to an announcement announce-ment made tocay by S. J. Jones, manager of the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph company here. j There will be no cnange in the ', regular August 1 bill but the next statement received by subscribers will introduce the new arrange-; ment. The adoption of the new plan will enable us to provide better service to our customers," Manager Man-ager Jones explained. For example, under the present practice, with all bills issued on the first of the month, charges for long distance calls ane included only up to the 2lst of the preceding preced-ing month. The new plan will permit the inclusion of all charges and credits up to the date of the bill. The appearance of the bill itself will also be improved. The change to the plan in Springville Spring-ville will be made Sept. 11, and that bill will m'ng all charges and credits up to date. T.he September 1 bill will cover charges and credits for slightly other than a normal period but each bill there after dated the first of each month will cover normal charges for a month's local service and a month's long distance charges. After the new plan is established, establish-ed, actual mailing of bills will be made from two to six business days after the billing date.
