Court Refuses to Review Medical Association Case ' WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 UT.R) The supreme court today refused to review a lower court action dismissing anti-trust indictments against the American Medical association as-sociation and some of its officers and subsidiary organizations. The high tribunal rejected a government appeal for review after aft-er a District of Columbia Federal district court held that the medical medi-cal profession cannot be prosecuted prose-cuted under the Sherman antitrust anti-trust act because it is not engaged en-gaged in "trade" within the meaning mean-ing the statute. In .one of the most unusual antitrust anti-trust proceedings in the nation's "history, the government had charged that the AMA has for years 'consistently pursued a policy pol-icy of active opposition to the formation and operation" of cooperative co-operative health organizations.
