Show FIVE KILLED IN IDAHO CRASHES BOISE, Idaho, July 5 (U.R) Idaho's holiday death toll stood at five today. All died in automobile automo-bile accidents. Allen Van Orsdale, 25, of Bel-ton, Bel-ton, Mont., died in a Boise hospital hos-pital last night of injuries received re-ceived when his automobile crashed 100 feet from a mountain road west of Lowman into the Payette river. Two passengers in the car, Betty Kearns, 14, of Low-man, Low-man, and Dorothy Thompson, 19, Boise, were injured. A similar accident took the life of Mrs. Clarence Burch, of Mul-lan. Mul-lan. Her car plunged into the south fork of the Coeur D'Alcne river near Wallace. Mrs. Bethyl Hartman, 34, was killed in a train-auto crash at Big Springs, near the west entrance to Yellowstone park. Her husband, Edward, 38, remained in critical condition today. Mrs. Nell Gesas, of Idaho Falls, was killed in a crash near that city. Joseph E. Williams, 48, drove over the rim of a canypn and plunged 242 feet to his death at Twin Falb. |
