Show Colorado River Party Overdue At Lees Ferry LEE'S FERRY, Ariz., July 5 (U.R) The two women and four men who started a scientific expedition dow the swollen Colorado river two weeks ago carried enough provisions to last until July 4, it was disclosed today. Watchers hoped that members of the party riding in three small boats, might see the fires and know that help was near. The six set out on June 20 on a 650-mile voyage from Green River, Riv-er, Utah, to Lake Mead, near Boulder dam, Nev. If the trip is successful, Miss Elzada Clover, 40, botanist at the University of Michigan, and Miss Lois Jotter, 24-year-old assistant to Miss Clover, will become the first women wo-men to make the journey down the Colorado by boat. Cataracts Feared Other members of the party were Norman D. Nevills, guide; Dr. Eugene Atkinson, University of Michigan zoologist; Donald Harris, engineer and scientist for the U.
