Show ca.se it is found necessary to pay more in order to secure qualified labor then and in that event the additional costs shall tx borne respectively by the contractor or his sub-enntractor or any one else employing such labor. Eight hours shall constitute a working day. The hourly rate for Sundays, legal holidays and overtime over-time is to be the regular hourly rate given in the specifications phis (50) fifty per cent. Notice is also hereby given th:it all bidders may submit with their bids a sworn statement of their financial responsibility, technical ability and experience. Such sworn statement may bv required to be furnished before award is made to any particular bidder. Each bid shall be made out on a form to be obtained at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Education of the Nebo School District, Spanish Fork, Utah, or at the office of the architects, and shall be accompanied by a revtifird or rashier's rheck or Hd bond for five (5) per cent of the amount of the bid. made payable to the order of the Board of Education Edu-cation of the Nebo School District, Dis-trict, and shall be sealed and filed with the Clerk of said Board a' the office of said Board on or before August 12. 193S, at 8:00 o'clock p. m., and will be opened and publicly read aloud at or about 8:00 o'clock p. m.. of that day in the office of said Board. The above mentioned check or bond shall be given as a guarantee guar-antee that the bidder will enter into the contract if awarded to him and will be declared forfeited if the succesful bidder refuses to enter into said contract after being requested so to do by the said Board. The said Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in a bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening thereof. All work under this contract must be completed on or before January 15th, 1939. NERO SCHOOL DISTRICT Advertisement For Bids Notice is hereby given that the .Board of Education of the Nebo School District, at its office at Spanish Fork, Utah, will receive bids for all the labor and materials ma-terials required in connection with the construction of building units as follows: Unit No. 2, Superintendent's Superin-tendent's Residence at Spanish Fork, Utah; No. 3, Principal's cottage at Mapleton, Utah; No. 4 and repairs to the Benjamin 'school, Benjamin, Utah. Bids are to be submitted separately for each building and in accordance with the respective plans, specifications, specifi-cations, and other contract documents docu-ments now on file with the Board of Education of the Nebo School District at Spanish Fork, Utah, and at the office of Ashworth & Markham, Architects, 44 West 2 North, Provo, Utah. These plans, specifications, and contract documents docu-ments may be examined and copies obtained at the office of the Board or from the architects, upon the receipt of $15.00 per set, which deposit will be refunded providing bid is submitted in proper form and upon the return of such copies in good candition within five (5) days after the bids are opened. Bidders are hereby notified that the Board of Education of the INebo School District, Spanish i Fork, Utah, has ascertained the igeneral prevailing rate of wages and rates for legal holidays and over-time work in the locality in which this work is to be performed per-formed for each craft or type of workman or mechanics needed to execute this contract.
