Show P.W.A. Projects Worth 10 Million According to report juot received re-ceived by Allen T. Sanford, state director tor the National Emergency Emer-gency Administration of Public Works 113 projects in Utah covering cover-ing watermains, w aterworks. sewerage systems, municipal improvements, im-provements, schools, reservoirs, city halls, electric plants, highway high-way improvements, university buildings, power waterworks, auditoriums, gymnasiums, nurses' home, at a total, cost of $10,148,-139 $10,148,-139 of which there was granted by the Federal Government $3, 425,904 and loaned by the. Federal Government $2,212,854. Also nine projects of an estimated esti-mated total cost of $1,408,795 of which the Government grant is $633,958 have been started but the work has been delayed through delays m extension of time to start to work and delays in plans and specifications. There has been expended on these projects pro-jects $480,128. Also the Public Works Administration Ad-ministration haa been submitted to municipal contracting units offers of agreements for thirty-four thirty-four additional projects of an estimated cost of $3,316,886 of which the government would grant $1,493,005, and has made one allotment to Salt Lake City schools for an estimated cost of $238,191 of which the government is granting $107,181. |
