OCR Text	Show Hartley Files For Legislature First Republican in the county to file for a berth in the state house of representatives, Andrew1 Hartley of Provo today announced his candidacy from the third legislative legis-lative district. He will file to. morrow with the secretary of state. Born in England, Mr. Hartley came to America els a boy and has lived 40 years in Provo. He worked for 14 years in the Provo Woolen Mills as a cloth inspector and finisher. For over 30 years he served in the U. S. postal service, retiring as a letter carrier two years ago. He represented the Letter Carriers of Utah at their national convention conven-tion at Atlantic City, N. J., two years ago as a delegate-at-large.
