Show REPUBLICAN DELEGATES SELECTED Provo Party Workers Pick Envoys For Ogden Meet. i Republicans of Provo and many other Utah county towns gathered in primaries Friday evening- to select dele gates for the Republican state convention to be held in Og-den, Og-den, May 7. The Provo delegation dele-gation will go to the convention conven-tion un instructed, although it i I understood that there is no opposition oppo-sition to the renujiiiruilion of Herbert Her-bert Hoover. The delegates and alternate chosen in the five primaries are 1 as follows : FIRST WARD Harlow K. Smoot, Neis Johnson, Mrs. Belle Bach man. Otto Birk and Mrs. Fannie Hedquist, dele gates; Mrs. Otto Birk, Ben Bach man, Melva Baehman, Waiter Robinson and Joseph A. ButtU alternates. The primary was helu at the Maeser school, with Otto Birk, chairman ; rvl vs. Bell Bach-man, Bach-man, chairwoman, and Mrs. Otto Birk, secretary. : SECOND WARD Mrs. Acl.sa E. Paxman, B. H. Knudsen and J. Frank Ward, delegates; dele-gates; Mrs. B. H. Knudsen and T. H. Heal, alternates. The primary met at the Central school with J. C. Halbersieben as chairman and T. H. Ileal, secretary. THIRD WARD Reed Knudsen, E. O. Bylund, Mrs. Vilate Vincent and Mrs. Vernon Ver-non Booke, delegates; Ole E. Olsen. W. K. Farrer, George Myers and Horatio Jones, t alternates. The primary met at the Franklin school with Reed Knudsen as chairman. FOURTH WARD John McGuire, Fred Markham, I. E. Brockbank, Mrs. Lottie Worthen - and Mrs. Nettie Beck, delegates; George W. Worthen, Victor Hatch, M. B. Pope, Mrs. Edith Y. Booth and Ernest Halver-sen, Halver-sen, alternates. The primary met at the Timpanogos school with Clarence Harmon, chairman and Mrs. Edith Y. Eooth as secretary. FIFTH WARD R. R. Thorne, C. W. Wright, Mrs. Gladys C. Nielsen, J. M. Jensen, Jen-sen, Raymond Holbrook, ' Mrs. Ed. M. Rowe, delegates; Mrs. Nellie McEwan, Mrs. C. H.
