Intorninj e in the Evergreen cemet JAMES OAKEY ANSWERS CALL James Henry Oakey, 55, died suddenly sud-denly at his home in Springville late Monday. He had been blind since he figured in an accident in the Tintic Stanaarct mine 42 years afro. i , Mr Oakey was born in American Fork, January 27, 1867, the son of Daniel and Sarah Jane Green Oakey. The family have resided In Springville for 47 years. He married mar-ried Mary Elizabeth Jenkins who survives him in the Endowment house, Salt Lake in 1891. He was known as an active church worker and was a member of the high priests' quorum of the Kolob stake at the time of his death. Surviving in addition to the widow are two brothers, Shipton Oakey, Springvilre ana Will Oakey, Eureka; two half-brothers, David S. Eddy, Eureka and William T. |
