Show SPRINGVILLE STORELOOTED Lightning and robbers never strike twice in the same place except ex-cept in Springvilie. Approximately $500 worth of mercrandise was stolen from the Hedquist Drug store in Springvilie Tuesday morning at about 4 o'clock hy robbers Who used the same :rothods as were1-used in robbing :he Jones Jewfry and the Reyn-ilds Reyn-ilds Clothing store one week ago last night. T., Lewis, ;euiben Chris"Uanson today are on he lookout 1'or the robbers believed believ-ed to have been the same tb?at staged the robbery a week ago, just a few docrs south. Glass Is Broken The robibers broke the glass in the door, switched the night lock, then finding the other lock still h'olding, pried the door open with a bar. The loot was evidently piled i in Hie canvases used in the windows, win-dows, a pile of toothbrushes remaining re-maining in the midotie of the floor giving evidence of their haste. The loot included $300 worth of jewelry, $30 worth of narcotics, $90 worth of cigars and cigarettes and an undetermined amount of toiletries toilet-ries and oth'ar merchandise. Several Sev-eral shefves were cleaned out in t'he raid. Frank Clark, city night watch- 1 man said everything was all right ! when he passed the store at 4 , o'clock. When he came back at 4 :30 he discovered the burglary. Members of the sheriff's force were called at 4:30 a. m. 1 |
