Show Engineers' Club Of U. A. C. Take Extensive Trip LOGAN W. Cornell Clyde of Springviifle was a member of the Engineers' Club of the Utah State Agricultural college which returned return-ed Wednesday, November 2, from an extensive trip through Utah and as far as the Boulder Dam at Boulder City, Nevada. Th'e purpose of the trip was to acquaint the students of the engineering en-gineering Department with outstanding out-standing engineering projects of the dictrict. The journey, included the state testing laboratories in the Capital building, KSL radio station, the smelter at Garfield and the floatation floata-tion plant at Arthur. The open cut mine at Bingham, the Diversion dam, highlinc canal and power house of the Strawberry project as weili as the Echo dam were also visiled. This is an annual trip conducted by the department as a prerequisite prerequi-site for graduates. t . . |
