Show MAPLETON j Miss Cora Filter of Columbia, was a week- nd visitor in Mapleton. She was a guest of relatives. Miss Ruth Whiting returned with her and will spend a week visiting with Miss Fuller and her mother, Mrs. Susy Fuller. .Miss Wanda Ingham has re-turned re-turned to Nephl after a month's stay with Miss Grace Holley. The following Beehive girls en-l en-l joyed a swim at Glengarry at the itake Beehive outing, Tuesday: Beryl Whiting, Hattie Lee, Mae Johnson. Ferl Nielson, May Johnson, John-son, Eva Lamb and were chaperoned by Miss Helen Whiting. After a swim, luncheon was served and a treasure hunt was enjoyed. A lovely time was had by four young people who took a horseback horse-back ride to Maple canyon lake, Sunday. They were the Misses Grace and Hattie Lee, Hardy Childs and Bert Brown, the latter two from Springville. Mrs. R. D. Kichards and three children, Lucile, Ted and Bert of trice were in Mapleton last week visiting relatives. They were guests of Mrs. H. S. Whiting. A series of slumber parties have been enjoyed this week by a group of girls at the homes of Misses Ruth Bills, Grace Lee, Helen Whiting, Whit-ing, ' Ruth Whiting and Blanche Whiting. Other than the hostesses named above there were present Miss Bessie Diamond, Miss Mabel Dibble, Miss Melba Hall and Miss Beryl Whiting . Mr. and Mrs. Joe W. Brown of Spanish Fork announce the marriage mar-riage of their daughter, Grace, tc Russell Jensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jensen of Mapleton The marriage ceremony was performed per-formed Wednesday. The young bride is being entertained extensively exten-sively this week. |
