Show BIBLE SCHOOL BEGINSMONDAY Next Monday morning at 9:30 a. m. the annual daily vacation Bible school of the Community church will hold its first session. The school will be held every morning morn-ing from 9:30 a. m. to 11:30 a. m. for two weeks from July 20 to July 31. There will be no school on Friday, July 24, nor, of course, on Saturday or Sunday. There will be classes for Ufl ages from 4 to 14. There will be classes in Bible memorization, in Bible stories and craftwork. The girls will have art work and sewing and the boys art work and manual training. The1 worship service at the opening of each session is always al-ways very enjoyable with song and prayer by the children. All bbys and girls from 4 to 14 are invited to come to our Bible school. The boys and girls who can are asked to bring 10 or 15 cents at the beginning- of the seconc, week of school to help with the expenses of materials for craft work. All the boys and girls who are there the first day will have a , chance of winning one of 15 or 20 (beautiful pictures which will be given away. The church bell will ring at 9 a,- m: every morning. The teachers and helpers this year are as followw: Esda Urqu-hart,- Margaret Forsyth, Margaret McPherson, Ida Hoffman, Mildred Hoffman, Emma Davidson, Grace Diamond, Frances Morrow, Milton Harbrich and others. Rev. Mr. Wilson Wil-son will have charge of the school. We cannot hope for a bigger school than, last year but with, the help of all interested we can have at least as big a one and a better one. |
