Show CLOSE STREAMS FOR FISHING Some of the fijhing stie-'uns and lakea in Utah county and the state will be closed until July 1 and some will be closed for the entire season sea-son is the recent pronouncement of Newell B. Cook, state- fish and game commissioner, according to J. J. The streams which will be closed until July 1 are: All lakes and streams in the Uintnh mount a ins above an altitude of 7. OHO feet. (This includes the lakes at the head of the Provo, Duehetme. Rock Creek, Uintah, Green and liea r River, but does not include ."f-n lake in Duchesne county.) The west fork of the Puchrsne river; Reed Creek, from the Vict ory highway to the head; Current" I Creek for the entire length. Brown ditch in Pleasant -View, ! will be closed for the entire season from head to the waste gate in the Lake Bottom canal. Other waters which will he closed for the entire year are: Little Col- i ton wood stream through the Murray Mur-ray city park only; all waters above the mouth of the narrows of the south fork of Ogdcn river; Brush ; creek in Uintah county from the mouth of the forge, oue-half mile down; Fish lake for radius of 250 feet " from the mouth of Twin Creek; Echo dam for a distance of 150 feet above the dam to 200 yards below the dam. |
