Erewereton pleaded guilty to killing two pheasant hens south of Payson. He was arrested Saturday by Deputy Sheriff George Davis. According to Sheriff J. D. Eoyd, it is considered a misdemeanor to be found shooting game birds out of st'ason or to be found with them in one's possession. The game laws are passed for the protection of the birds during the propagating sen-son' sen-son' he said, and branded the cowardly practice of shooting them out of season as poor sportsmanship. |
