Show AUXILIARIES HOLD SESSION Utah and U. S. Legislative Measures Are Favored . in Resolutions. J Resolutions pledging the support of the members of the Ladies' Auxiliaries Aux-iliaries of the American Legion to the passage of the naval cruiser bill now pending in the United States senate, and legislative action ac-tion in Utah state, providing for the establishment of a separate institution in-stitution for the feeble-minded. were the outstanding recommendations recommenda-tions made at the district conference confer-ence of the auxiliary held Sunday I at the city and county building. ! 10 in Attendance Approximately 40 representatives were present from the six counties constituting the two districts participating par-ticipating in the conference. Mrs. L. R. Edwards, state president of the auxiliaries, was in charge of the sessions, which were held in the city court room in the city and countv building. Important committee reports bearing on the activities carried on by the organization during the year were made by the following: Mrs. J. A. Howell of Ogden, rehabilitation reha-bilitation on committee; Mrs. E. A. Littlefield of Ogden. child welfare; Mrs. Marguerite Whitely, Salt Lake, program committee: Mrs. Stephen Abbott, Americanism committee, and Mi's. L. R. Sprague, Salt Lake, hospital committee. |
