Show DAIRYMEN TO VISIT OGDEN Utah County Men to Attend Formal Opening of Dried , Milk Plant. A delegation of dairymen from Utah and Wasatch counties, headed by County Agent W. J. Thayne, and E. S. Hinckley, secretary of the Provo chamber of commerce, will attend the formal opening of the dried milk plant of the Weber Central Cen-tral Dairy at Ogden Thursday. Invitations In-vitations have been sent out from Mr. Thayne's office to all dairy committeemen from the' farm bureau bu-reau locals of the two counties, and a general invitation is extended to anyone interested in the dairy industry. in-dustry. The' Weber organization, com- posed of the dairymen of the district dis-trict have installed the latest type of machinery for an up-to-date utility util-ity dairy plant to be operated under the direction of Dr. Gustav Wilster, one of the foremost dairy experts in the country. A similar plant has been proposed for Utah county and local dairymen are eager to see the Weber plant in operation. Noted Speaker Coming Annoimceme'nt has been made that John Brandt, of St. Paul, manager man-ager of the Lond O' Lakes, the second sec-ond largest dairy cooperative in the world, will be one of the speakers Dairymen from California and other states are' also expected to be in attendance. The Utah county delegation from Provo and south will meet at the city and county building' at S:30 a. m. Thursday. Those north of Provo will meet at the Peoples' Cooperative Co-operative store at Lehi. |
