Show Stanley E. Blackett takes Orem bride in Manti Temple ceremony Married in the Manti temple tem-ple February 1, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley E. Blackett were honored hon-ored at a lovely reception in the Orem 13th-16th ward hall Thursday evening-. She is the former Miss Diane Prince, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fen-ton Fen-ton Prince of Orem 'and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Blackett of Springville. Spring-ville. A traditional gown of white satin was worn by the bride. Deep folds of the material fell from a unique insert at the waist line and swept into a chapel train. Pearl encrusted lace appliques were at the throat. She carried a white orchid or-chid surrounded by vanda orchids or-chids and her double fold veil of illusion was held by a pearl and crystal tiara. She wore a cameo from Rome, a gift from the groom. Annette Watkins, Carolyn Prince, Venice Whitwood, Marianne Mar-ianne Prince, Sheree Sumsion attended the bride in sheaths of orchid brocade. They carried informal bouquets of vanda orchids or-chids and wore pearl tear drop necklaces, which were gifts of the bride. Mrs. Prince received guests in an off-white knit sheath and Mrs. Blackett in beige silk and their flowers were orchids. Robert Anthon served as best man. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Sumsion, Mr. and Mrs. Murray Ramson and Mr. and Mrs. William Terry Ter-ry welcomed guests at the door. Also assisting were Mr. and Mrs. Foster Anthon and Verla Manning. Mary Walters, Gail Faden, Deon Louder, Nancy Curtain and Carolyn Childs served guests. Mrs. Mont Burr, Judy Halter, Barbara Butkus, Julie Stevenson, Mrs. Mac Halliday, arranged gifts carried by Bruce Prince, Don Terry, Kay Burr, Alan Halladay and Brent Sumsion.
