Show ! Relief Society, Primary to meet Saturday, general public Sunday A new program will be carried out in Springviile Stake Quarterly Conference this weekend according to ' announcement from the stake presidency. The Relief Society and Primary " will meet in convention Saturday, Satur-day, ' at Springviile Stake House with sessions scheduled at 9 a.m., to 12 noon for ward and stake workers and 1:30 p.m., to 4 p.m., for stake of- ficers. Clara J. Sumsion is Stake Relief Society president and June Blanchard, Primary. Sunday will be devoted to general sessions of quarterly conference under the direction of President Leo A. Crandall, with meetings announced for 10 a.m., and 2 p.m. The evening even-ing meeting at 7 p.m., will be under direction of the stake MIA. Two prominent auxiliary leaders, Leone G. Layton, a member of the Relief Society General Board, and Thelma B. deJong, a member of the Primary Pri-mary Association General Board, win be in attendance at conference sessions on both days. Mrs. Layton is a former school teacher. She is a graduate grad-uate of the University of Utah and has worked on the Women's Wo-men's Legislative Council of Salt Lake City. Mrs. deJong has been an officer of-ficer and teacher in several auxiliary organizations. A graduate of Southern Idaho College of Education, she earned earn-ed a Masters degree from Brigham Young University. She has been a teacher in high schools and at BYU. |
