Show Single people invited to join Sociables An entertaining' Valentine social is announced for tonight to-night at 8 p.m., at the Park University LDS ward hall, 8th N. 1st W., Provo, to which all single people of Springville, 23 years and older, are invited, according to Dell Faddis of Provo, president of the organization. organ-ization. The program, planned by the LDS Sociables, is but one of a variety of activities out-i lined for the season. The organization or-ganization sponsors ice-skating twice each ' month with free lessons given at Winter Gardens.. Gar-dens.. There is also bowling twice monthly and a fireside chat twice a month in addition addi-tion to square dancing on each third Thursday of the month. According to report, the crowds are getting larger at the weekly programs, at which new friends are made and everyone ev-eryone reportedlp has an enjoyable en-joyable time. Miss Carol Ann Allan engaged to wed Spanish Fork man soon ing and they will reside in Utah County. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard M. Allan of Mapleton are announcing announ-cing the engagement and approaching ap-proaching marriage of their daughter Carol Ann, to Howard How-ard Allen Horten, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard B. Horton of Spanish Fork. The wedding and reception will be March 1, at the Maple-ton Maple-ton Church. Bidden to attend the bride will be Helen Robinson, Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Allan, Claudia Jo Harris and Sharon Beardall. The charming bride-elect is a graduate of Springville High School and is now attending beauty college. Mr. Horton is employed in Santiquin. She plans to finish her school- |
