Show Federated Music Club hears fine program A program on American Contemporary Con-temporary Composers of 1870 and 1871, was presented at the meeting of the Springville Federated Fed-erated Music Club Friday evening, eve-ning, when the group met with Mrs. Orvil Clark. Mrs. Arthur Finley conducted the meeting and the program was in charge of Mrs. Warren Tonks and Hannah Rowland. Miss Rowland gave the discussion dis-cussion and correlating music was arranged by Mrs. Tonks including violin numbers by Mrs. Lewis Bird, string trio selections by Mrs. Bird, Mrs. Wilford Manwaring and M;rs. Maurice Bird; vocal solo, Mrs. Orvil Clark and Mrs. Ellen Anderson and a piano solo by Mrs. Berdean E. Oldroyd. Mrs. Tonks also led in group singing sing-ing with Mrs. Maurice Bird, accompanist. Refreshments were served to fourteen club members at the conclusion of the program. Farm people buy 13 of all the petrolium produced in the U.S., more than any other industry. |
