Show Mothers Study Club names new officers Mrs. Mary Clegg was elected elec-ted president of the Mother's Study Club at a meeting Friday Fri-day afternoon, at the home of Mrs. Philda Finley. President Grace Crandall conducted and asked Mrs. Margaret Huntington Hunting-ton to read the club .collect. Mrs. Jennie Sanford reported on the Legislative Council meeting. Mrs. Mae Huntington gave current events. Other new officers named to assist Mrs. Clegg, are Mrs. Alice Al-ice Sudweeks, vice president; and Mrs. Mary Mason, secretary-treasurer. Guest speaker of the afternoon, after-noon, was Howard Ivory, who discussed conservation and its importance to the economy of the country. He also showed some interesting films on wild life to demonstrate effects of conservation. Blaine Packard entertained with accordian selections and birthday pillows were presented pre-sented by Mrs. Lela Sumsion to Mrs. Maud Thorn and Mrs. Finley. Next meeting of the club was announced for April 12, when Mrs. Anna Johnson will be hostess at Bart's. Twenty club members and Mrs. Gertrude Sumsion attended at-tended the Friday meeting and a nicely arranged lunch was served at the close by the hostess assisted by her granddaughter, grand-daughter, Carol Finley.
