Funeral held Tuesday for Abraham Ullock Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Tuesday in the First-Twelfth First-Twelfth Ward chapel for Abraham Ab-raham Ullock, 72, 360 East 8th South St., who died Saturday Sat-urday morning, March 23, 1963, at Utah Valley Hospital. He had enteded the hospital Thursday for an eye operation. Bishop DelMoine Christen-sen Christen-sen of the 12th Ward officiated offici-ated at the services. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Ceme-tery, directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Mor-tuary. Mr. Ullock was born Aug. 11, 1890, in Lancastershire, England, a son of Thomas and Jane Briggs Ullock. Their marriage mar-riage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He caame to the United States from England in 1909, and made his home in Park both of Long Beach Calif.; a stepmother, Mrs. Lillian Ullock, Ul-lock, Bremerton, Wash.; and four halfbrothers, Reginald, Edward T., Charles and William Wil-liam Ullock all of Bremerton, Washington, and a halfsister, Mrs. Gene (Ada) Sawyer, Pasadena, Calif. City and Bingham. He later lived in Eureka, where he worked as a millman and electrician. elec-trician. After moving to Springville, he worked at the Tri-State Lumber Company in Provo for 20 years and for Grand Lumber Company in Springville five years. During the past few years, he had been in semi-retirement and was self-employed He was a member of the LDS Church, holding the office of-fice of high priest. Surviving are his widow, Springville; three daughters, Mrs. Bert O. (Jean) Brown and Miss Emma Ullock, both of Springville; and Mrs. C. E. (Moyra) Hopla, Norman, Oklahoma; Ok-lahoma; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Norton and Mrs. Margaret Hawkins, |
