Show Club group sets husbands' party Bonne Amitie club members spent a deightful evening-Wednesday, evening-Wednesday, at the home of Mrs. Millie Peterson, where a varied program of games was conducted. First prize went to Marva Boyack. The girls are planning a husband's party on Sept. 14, with the place tentatively set on the lawn at Marva Boy-ack's Boy-ack's home. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Calloway and two children returned recently re-cently from an enjoyable vacation va-cation trip to Washington D. C. where they visited his folks and saw many interesting tourists attractions. They made the trip to and from the capi-tol capi-tol by train. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Long enjoyed en-joyed a visit recently from their son, Dale, who was here from Santa Ana, Calif., where he is employed as a microbiologist micro-biologist at the Orange County Health Dept. From Springville, he went to Denver Colo., for a short visit with his sister and brother-in-law, M-Sgt and Mrs. Rober tW. Taylor (Charmian) and their two daughters. He and the sister were in an accident ac-cident while he was there and Charmian was hospitalized with a fractured shoulder and facial fac-ial cuts and bruises. Dale was also cut and bruised. A news release from the selecttive service system office at Spanish Fofk lists the names of Donald Max Peterson Peter-son as having enlisted in the Navy and Paul Rumel Cragun in the Air For.ce. Also the names of Hollis Dean Snelson and Richard D. Hardy as having hav-ing recently been released from, the Navy and Army respectively. re-spectively. Buddhists defy Government in Saigon dispute. |
