Miss Shoell's winning item was a green striped wool two-pie-dress and that entered by Arlene to take second in the Teen contest, was a green wool dress with tan coat and modeled with white and brown accessories. Springville girls win places among 140 sewing contestants Three Springville girls took high honors in the annual Sing-er Young Stylemaker contest, in which approximately 140 participated in three divisions; at Provo, Monday of this week. Lois Greenhalgh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Green-halgh, 'took first place honors in the 'Miss' division; Diane Shoell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ned Shoell, received sec-ond place in the 'Tween' divi-sion and Arlene Greenhalgh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hy-rum Greenhalgh took second in the 'Teen-ag- e' contest. Strong Is September 28, with a reception the same evening. Sydna Whiting, Don R. Strong plan wedding vows Sept. 28 Mr. and Mrs. W. He is a member of the National Guard and attended officers' candidate school this summer, and is con-tinuing his studies at BYU.
