Show Coming. (Events Mapleton PTA Dean Muhlstein of the Provo Fire Department will 'be the speaker at the Mapleton PTA meeting next Wednesday evening, even-ing, Feb. 8, discussing Safety from fire. Also taking part on the program will be the children chil-dren from the Second and Fifth grades. President John Bleggi will be in charge of the meeting. Record rally The Record Rally committee announces another in a series of dances in the form of a Valentine dance Saturday evening even-ing at 8:30 p.m. in the 1st-12th 1st-12th ward hall, sponsored by the First ward MIA under direction di-rection of Elvin Ostler. No dates will be allowed and admittance ad-mittance will be denied users of tobacco or liquor. On the committee are: Mike Young, Steve Wolsey. Connie Brails-ford, Brails-ford, Colleen Crandall, Eileen Cloward, Kathy Orr, Mary Kay Lawrence, Brian Harward, Leslie Les-lie Allred, Raymond Bird, Terry Swanson, Larry Johnson. High Priests party President Grant S. Thorn, who is leaving for his duties in the Northern England Mission Mis-sion Feb. 6, and his wife Naomi, Na-omi, will be guests of honor at a program and social given by the High Priests of Springville Stake this evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Stake House. Wives of Hig-h Priests are also invited. In charge are members of the Stake High Priests presidency, Jesse H. Whiting, Melvin Haymond, Edgar Ed-gar S. Best and Lloyd Ash-craft. Ash-craft. Subject of the program pro-gram will be, "United States Air Bases Around the World," presented by Sgt. Balaich. Art City Garden club The regular monthly meeting meet-ing of the Art City Garden club will be held next Monday February 6, at 7:30 p.m., at the Junior high school. Spring preparation and planting will be the subject taken up during dur-ing the program under direction direc-tion of Lorin Phillips. 20-30 club dance The public is invited to a 20-30 club Sweetheart Ball being be-ing sponsored by the 20-30 Anns at the Provo Policemens Hall, Saturday evening Feb. 11. There will be a floor show and refreshments and music by the Trubadors and fun and surprises for all announces Mrs. Wayne Miller, chairman. Spring Creek DUP Camp Spring Creek DUP will be entertained next Thursday Thurs-day Feb. 9, at the home of Mrs. Erma Brailsford at 2 p.m. All members are urged to attend. |
