Show Dr. Boyden Bird dies on coast Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Saturday in Los Angeles, An-geles, Calif., for Dr. Park Boyden Bird, 62, a native of Springville and former resident who died Tuesday, of last week of a heart ailment. Burial was in Los Angeles. Born January 2, 1S99, in Springville, he was a son of Amasa C. and Mary Louise Whitehead Bird. He attended school here and graduated from the Springville high school. He was a graduate of the Northwestern North-western University School of Dentistry at Evanston, 111., and had practiced dentistry in Los Angeles for the past 35 years. He was a member of the LDS church. His wife, Blanch Clegg Bird, whom he married in the Salt Lake Temple survives, as do two daughters, Mrs. Lester (Carol) Cutting, Menlo Park, Calif.; Mrs. William M. (Barbara) (Bar-bara) McCroll, Chicago; seven grandchildren; a brother and three sisters, Mrs. F. W. (Jessie) (Jes-sie) Goates and Vern Bird, Los Angeles; Mrs. J. R. (Louise) (Lou-ise) Harmon, LaHabra, Calif., and Mrs. William N. (Margaret) (Mar-garet) Grooms, Salt Lake City. |
