Show Three enter annual Guard queen contest i 1 j Three entries were submitted by press time this week in the National Guard Queen contest and others are expected within with-in the next few days, according accord-ing to officers in charge. The deadline, is -February- 10. Those whose names have been submitted thusfar are: Kay Nielson, Springville; Su-ellen Su-ellen Kay of Provo and Nina Mae Hooley of Orem. All entries must have a talent tal-ent and be able to give a demonstration dem-onstration of that talent during dur-ing the contest preceding the annual Military Ball, Feb. 18. Queen candidates must be single between 18 and 28 years old and a graduate of high school by September. They can be from Springville or other Utah communities. Plans for the Guard Muster Day are progressing nicely according ac-cording to Chairman Cyril Thompson and everything will be ready for a fine program of events to which -the public will be invited Saturday February 18.
