Application is by mail only in the special elk application envelopes and letters postmarked postmark-ed later than 12:00 midnight, August 19 will not be entered in the drawings. The special envelopes are provided by the department and are available from any li- cense agency or from department depart-ment offices. A certified check, cashier's check or money order are acceptable. ac-ceptable. Applications must also al-so include the name and address, ad-dress, choice of hunting unit, and big game hunting license number. Public drawings for all oversubscribed over-subscribed hunting units will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m., Aug. 30, at the State Capitol to determine successful applicants appli-cants for these units. The department de-partment said that the public is again welcomed and urged to attend and to take part in these public drawings. The application fee will be returned to unsuccessful applicants ap-plicants immediately following the drawings. |
