Show Preliminary clinics, schools for preps, practice date listed Utah High School Activities Association will complete its athletic clinic today at the University of Utah Union building where coaches, school officials and ; the general public interested in athletic activities have been ' instructed in the various i sports. ' The Activities Association has scheduled Regional schools for the 1960-61 season to begin be-gin Aug. 29. This region's school will be held in the Provo high school. Those interested inter-ested in becoming certified of ficials for high school games must attend one of these schools. Principals and coaches are asked to encourage their athletic squad members, students stud-ents and townspeople to attend at-tend these Regional Schools. Well prepared sound films on the rules and other instructions instruc-tions will be given. Monday, Aug. 29, has been set as the beginning practice date for 1960 football season. Football supplies and equipment equip-ment shall not be issued to prospective squad members prior to this date, officials point out. Physical exams should also be conducted on this date and no preliminary practices held. No football practice prac-tice game is to be played prior to Friday, Sept. 9, regulations point out. i The felloW who has done most to arouse the working class is the man who invented the alarm 'clock.
