Show Couple hurt on trip east to visit son Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Herbert, 98 A St. Brookside, met with misfortune on a trip to Norfolk, Nor-folk, Va., when the automobile in which they were riding.' hit a concrete abutment at an underpass un-derpass near Ironton, Ohio. They were going to see their son Robert D. Herbert in the Navy. Both Mr. and Mrs. Herbert were confined to the hospital from Saturday evening, when the accident occured, until Tuesday. They suffered deep lacerations and bruises and Mr. Herbert had a severly injured right hand. .Their 15-year-old son David was uninjured. . Upon getting word of the accident, their son Robert came from Virginia and upon their release from the hospital took them to Virginia, where they planned to rest a few days before returning home by train or plane. Their 1959 Ford was practically prac-tically demolished by the impact. im-pact. Mrs. Herbert had not fully recovered from injuries sustained sus-tained in an automobile accident acci-dent two years ago, the family fam-ily reported. |
