Show 1 tcndl turns fcinbs down on golf course Howard Maycock, president of the Springville Kiwanis club and his wife Mary (and Kenneth Long, representing the Community Development Committee, discussed the possibilities pos-sibilities of Springville having a golf course at Kellys Grove. The council discussed the situation with the delegation, pointing to the fact that Springville at present does , not have sufficient water to keep a course green or to do so might deprive home owners of sufficient water. The council went on record as stating that it would not be feasible until such a time as water could be made available. Springville has been approached ap-proached by Spanish Fork to go in with them on the building build-ing of a golf course, but their proposal did not meet the ap-procal ap-procal of the council, it was pointed out. , |
