Show i - -, X. Mrs. Jane Stewart who was guest of honor at a dinner party given by her family to celebrate her 80th birthday. Mrs. Jane Stewart Notes Birthday At Family Dinner The family of Mrs. Jane Stewart joined in celebrating her 80th birthday on Sunday of last week, with forty-two family members meeting for dinner at the family residence, 698 South Main St. Mrs. Stewart is a native of Spanish Fork being a daughter of early settlers Franklin and Louise Pace. After her marriage mar-riage she came to Springville to live and resided in the vicinity vi-cinity of her present home for more than fifty years. During her earlier life, Mrs. Stewart was active in church work, especially in Primary and has also worked in Relief Society. Her sons and daughter, husbands hus-bands and wives, all of whom were at the birthday dinner, include: Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Stewart, and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Stewart, Mrs. Sara Bell Stewart of Spanish Fork, Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Peay and their families. Eighteen of 20 grandchildren grand-children were in attendance. One grandson is in Germany and the other unable to attend, lives in Omaha, Nebr. She also has seventeen great grandchildren. grandchil-dren. During the day, she had a number of near-relatives and friends call to see her including includ-ing a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Nielson of Spanish Fork and friends, Mrs. Florence Reynolds Rey-nolds and Mrs. George Borror of this city. Mrs. Stewart lives alone, does her own housework and enjoys visiting with relatives and friends and going to church. |
