Mrs. Barbara Murray is in the Hughes Hospital in Spanish Span-ish Fork for treatment of virus pneumonia. Her condition is reported as improving. Motoring to Roy Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Earton were Mr. and Mrs. David Da-vid Perry. The Bartons have a new baby girl. Several Lady Lions from Mapleton attended the Lady Lions Meeting in Provo last week. They included Mrs. Zora Hales, Mrs. Erma Hjorth, Mrs. Florence Allan, Mrs. Ruth Larson, Lar-son, Mrs. Norma Canto, Mrs. Inez Harmer and Mrs. Loeen Whiting. Robert Brent Perry was honored hon-ored on his seventh birthday by a party given by his mother, moth-er, Mrs. David Perry. v His guests included twenty four young guests his own age coming com-ing from as far as Springville and Orem. Mrs. Paul Jensen was hostess to a birthday party honoring her son Ronnie on his eighth birthday. Games and refreshments refresh-ments were enjoyed. The members of the Sierra Bonita Club were entertained at the home of Mrs. Barbara Murray Friday evening of last week. The time was spent in quilting followed by a hot luncheon. lun-cheon. Numbers were drawn for prizes with the winners being be-ing Gen Allan and Louise Jensen. Jen-sen. "Perfect Hideout," a one act play was presented in the Mapleton ward Tuesday night under the direction of Mrs. Rhea Williams. The cast included: in-cluded: Russell Miner, Gordon Beardall, Sharon Ellis, Susan Bushman, Mary Sue Taylor, Sharlotte Edmunds, DeAnn Nielson, Marilyn Barker, Terry Williams, Elliot Murphy, Nyla Norwood was prompter and Terry Williams helped with lights. Joan Paulson and Susan Harmer helped with make up. |
