WHALEY RESIGNS AS REVENUE COLLECTOR "S'ews of the resignation of W. C. Whalev, internal revenue collector at He'ona, Mont., which department included in-cluded Utah until the recent formation of the new district, was received yesterday yes-terday in Salt Lake. Mr. Whaley has occupied the position since 1014. A telegram received yesterday was to the effect that Mr. Whaley 's resignation resig-nation was filed with United States I Senator T. J. Walsh of Montana more than two weeks ago and that his successor suc-cessor has not yet been appointed. It is understood that Mr. Whaley's res-, ignation was given with an intention I to enter private business.
