Show LEWISTOM DEFEATS O. S. L. CLUB IN NINTH Special to The Tribune. LKWISTON. July 6. Xo less than 1000 people watched the Lewiston baseball team defeat the O. S. L., a picked team from Osdcn, on the home grounds. No faster game has been played in this sec- ' tion of the state for years. The score was 3 to 3 up to the last of the ninth inning, in-ning, when Lewiston put across the winning win-ning run. Lewiston has won nineteen out of the twenty-two games played so far this season, sea-son, and it has played all the fast teams inVtah except Tooele. None of the Idaho teams has yet scored a victory over Lewiston. |
