Show adjustment and equalization of intermoun-tain intermoun-tain freight rates. The board will meet Tuesday, and in the afternoon of that day a hearing will be granted by. it on the petition of the : Inter-mountain Rate association for the inauguration of a graded scale of rates to intermountain points on a basis of the distance from point of origin of the freight to the point of delivery. A complete schedule of proposed rates has been worked out by members of the rate association, and the regional board will be asked to take steps to put this schedule into efect, that the intermountain intermoun-tain region may be placed on a fair basis of competition with Pacific coast points.
