Show DULUTH IDLE MEN MUST GET TO WORK DULUTH, Minn., Oct. 24. To work at some essential industry or labor for the city at the work farm will be the only alternative after today of the able-bodied able-bodied idle men of Duluth who are not in military service. This is the notice served on the mayor and the commissioner commis-sioner of public safety today by Judge J. F. McGee, state fuel administrator, through instructions from the state public pub-lic safety commission. The lack of manpower man-power to meet the serious fuel shortage is the direct cause of the enforcement of the "work or fight" order of June 4, 1918. |
