Show GOVERNOR RETURNS FROM AUTO TRIP Pleased With Experiences Noted in the Six-day Tour of Utah Counties. Governor Bamberger returned last night from a six days' automobile trip through Uintah and Emery counties. In his company were Mrs. Bamberger, his daughter, Lisa, George F. McGon-agle, McGon-agle, state engineer, and Ira Browning, state road engineer. The primary purpose pur-pose of the trip was to attend a memorial memo-rial service last Sunday at Hebcr for three war heroes Guy Alexander, George Lockhart and George Nelson. Tho governor reports that the roads arc in fair shape and that satisfactory-progress satisfactory-progress is being made in construction work everywhere he went. On the way into Uintah basin the party visited "a construction camp made up of convicts from the state prison. The chief executive execu-tive praised highly the work that they are accomplishing. Patriotic meetings were held at manv villages, at. all of which the governor was the chief speaker. Last Thursday, on the return end of the trip, he made seven addresses in Emery county. At several meetings Miss Bamberger also spoke on the activities of the council of defense.
